Select a grandstand

. Some Tips
Here are some suggestions to make your experience more enjoyable.
Leave your car at home
The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is served by metro station Jean-Drapeau. We suggest you purchase tickets for the entire weekend at a booth at one of Montreal's metro stations and use the subway network. Leave your car at home or at the hotel because there is no parking available at Parc Jean-Drapeau and few parking spaces near the site, both on the Island of Montreal on the South Shore. For the metro, plan a course of 40 minutes if you leave from the station at the head of line (Honoré-Beaugrand and Angrignon, and Côte-Vertu Henri-Bourassa, Saint-Michel and Snowdown), 25 minutes from a downtown city, 15 minutes from Longueuil.
Wear comfortable shoes for walking
A good walk may be necessary, especially if you have seats in the stands opposite the pits or in the Senna corner at the west end of the circuit. You have to walk nearly 2 km. Walking shoes, without heels or flat shoes are the right choice. Also allow time to walk to get to your grandstand so as not to miss the early sessions.
Bring your binoculars, your camera and your FM player.
A pair of binoculars will allow you to distinguish details of the cars. If your are seated in the stands in front of the pits, you can observe teams at each stop. It is allowed to photograph the cars on the track, but for your personal use only.
A hat and sunscreen are necessary
Presented in June and we hope that the sun will shine. This happens frequently. Protect yourself accordingly by wearing a hat, a cap and sunglasses and using sunscreen. Children in general admission
